Lens beat Angers 2-0 in their Ligue 1 clash on Saturday, with goals from Yannick Openda and Kalidou Fofana securing all three points for the visitors.
Openda's header in the 74th minute was enough to give Lens the lead, before Fofana added a second late on to secure all three points for his side.
It was a much-needed victory for Lens, who had lost their previous two matches and were looking to bounce back after suffering defeat against Paris Saint-Germain last weekend.
The result will be a boost for Lens' chances of qualifying for next season's Europa League, which they currently sit one point behind Nice in the table.
Fofana has been in impressive form this season, scoring four goals in just six appearances, while Openda also played an important role in the win.
Both players showed great composure and skill in front of goal, and it was a well-deserved victory for Lens as they looked to continue their upward trajectory in the league.
